Opportunity does not knock, then knock again, then leave a note saying "sorry I missed you"
I've been trying to start a blog for forever, and its taken me until now - 2 years of carefully planned procrastination - to finally put pen to, well, internet screen. I don't really know what the purpose of it will be, but I figured that once I start, it'll hopefully turn into something. If not, i'll have to resort to plan B. And I don't know what that is either. Problem.
If I sound confused, its because I am.
Here's a few things I do know:
- I'm a 19-year old student from Edinburgh, in the land of Scots. Contrary to popular belief, this does not mean I'm blessed with a ginger tinge, or run around the moors in nothing but a kilt with a haggis under one arm. That's only on special occasions - Birthdays, Holidays, the occasional Sunday afternoon.
- At the moment I live in Cape Town, South Africa, studying politics, philosophy, and economics at the University of Cape Town. This degree is the ultimate in 'career procrastination'. I'm planning on making it last at least 10 more years, because I have no clue what I want to do after I'm finished.
- I devour music, movies, and photography - like a ravenous cultural beast.
That should give you a little taste.
chap.
